We have a big challenge ahead of us: increasing the percentage of adults in Spartanburg County who hold a bachelor's degree from under 20% to 40% by 2030.
There are many important goals within this large challenge, including supporting literacy, encouraging adults to earn their GED, increasing high school graduation rates, and helping residents earn a two-year degree that can transfer to a four-year school. But the bottom line is we need more college-educated adults in our community to allow for a stronger, healthier county.
We need everyone to help us reach our goals. Are you up to the challenge?
